The Norotos LoSto Force-To-Overcome Night Vision Goggle Mount is designed to the be lowest possible profile of any removable NVG mount on the market in both the active and stowed positions. This geometry is very beneficial in the field as it presents a reduced snag hazard. Force-to-Overcome deploy/stow release ensures safe and firm user pressure activation for NVG flip-up/flip-down with auto-shut off in stow position or if the NVG is removed. It has single-handed easy operating tactile differentials further heighten comfort enriching safety while maintaining custom-fit adaptability, including Glide-Rite Infinitely Adjustable Vertical, Tilt, and Fore/Aft levers. The field-changeable interface system that allows operators to switch between the standard bayonet horn and dovetail interface. It comes with the Dovetail Interface (compatible with the PVS-15/18/31) the Horn Interface is available in addition to the dovetail mount and is compatible with the PVS-7B/7D and PVS-14.

MOUNT INTERFACE OPTIONS: Dovetail Interface (standard) comes with the mount and is compatible with the PVS-15/18/31 and BNVD-G. Or, add the Horn mount adapter (in addition to the standard dove tail) the Horn adapter is compatible with the PVS-7B/7D and PVS-14.

Received it in 11 days to America. <br /> <br /> Despite what the title says, this is not force to overcome, it is a push button which is disappointing. <br /> <br /> Other issues is that the bayonet mount it comes with is too shallow to work with USGI J-arms.<br /> <br /> The breakaway feature does not work. What the breakaway actually does is allow normal operation of the arm to mount onto and off shrouds. When you slide it to lock it keeps the detachment button from being pressed so you can't take it off the helmet. <br /> <br /> The tilt adjustment is ridiculously stiff and requires pliers to adjust.<br /> <br /> That said, this is a suable mount. It clicks into 1 hole and 3 hole shrouds with zero play due to the top screw which adjusts fit. There is some vertical wobble in the hinge itself, however this is completely negated when you bungee your NVD. As far as Chinese clones go, this is a far more durable option than the Wilcox clones. <br /> <br /> I only give 3 stars because it is not force to overcome, but instead uses the inferor wilcox style push button. The tilt stiffness is a tolerable issue since you won't be adjusting that in the field unless you swap helmets with someone. <br /> <br /> This being said, I will be buying more in the future as it is a great cheap dovetail option comparable in price to the USGI RHINO series bought from surplus.
